Two cooperation agreements were signed today between PD and Petroecuador OCP Ecuador SA for interconnection of the pipeline and the Trans-Heavy Crude Oil Pipeline and Mutual Support in normal operation and emergency reported in the public oil.

The General Manager of the EP Petroecuador, and Mr. Marco Calvopiña Executive Chairman of OCP Ecuador S. A, Mr. Andrés Mendizabal, signed the two specific agreements.

The first is for the interconnection of Trans Pipeline System, SOTE Oil Pipeline and Oleoducto De Crudos Pesados Oil Pipeline, (OCP), at Km 4.5 in Lago Agrio to allow emergency and breaks duct upstream of the site, pumping oil production East to the OCP and vice versa.

This will avoid stopping the pump and therefore to Esmeraldas overcome any involvement in the operations of oil production in the oil fields in the east.

The second agreement aims to establish mechanisms for mutual between the two entities in the normal and emergency with support staff, facilities and equipment owned by the EP
OCP Ecuador and Petroecuador S. A.

This agreement applies throughout the course of the pipelines, in the initial pumping stations and terminals, and even in places ship berthing.

The documents were signed under the "Framework Convention for the collaboration between the Public Enterprise Oil in Ecuador, EP Petroecuador and the Society of OCP heavy crude of Ecuador, in interconnection, "September 2011.
