The Friday occasion also celebrated the achievement of JOB Pertamina-PetroChina East Java (JOB-PPEJ) for producing 100 million barrels of oil and the 500th oil shipment from the Sukowati Field.

“This is an achievement because not many KKS Contractors’ working fields have exceeded a production rate of 100 million barrels,” Priyono revealed.

JOB-PPEJ is currently operating five fields in East Java: the Mudi Field, which came onstream in late 1997, the Sukowati Field in mid 2004, the Gondang Field in September 2005, the Lengowangi Field in June 2011 and the Saut Bungoh Field in August 2011.

“We hope the development of fields will continue to boost national oil productions,” Priyono said.
