CJSC Rospan International (a member of the TNK-BP Group of Companies) is planning to announce a tender for the construction of the “Yamal” oil pipeline system, with a total length of around 374 km, to enable transportation of oil from fields in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District and northern Krasnoyarsk Kray.

The project will involve the comprehensive capital construction of the “Yamal Oil Pipeline System: Suzun –Tagul – Russkoe – Zapolyarnoe pipeline metering station”. For long-distance transportation of oil the line pipe will be built alongside the route facilities and metering station (Zapolyarnoe) in the vicinity of Transneft’s oil pumping station No.2. The work will be carried out over three winter seasons: 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15.

Olga Malyshkina, TNK-BP Vice President, Supply Chain Management, notes: “This is one of the biggest infrastructure projects in the region and will be of great significance for the company’s future. We’re confident that the best contractors will become involved, making it possible to implement the project as efficiently as possible for all participants.”
