The generators AES Gener and Colbún began a process of direct negotiations with the Norwegian company Höegh oriented tending sign a contract to hire a terminal floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) that could be implemented in late 2012.

The decision to close the contract with Höegh will depend on the conditions offered by this company, as of the permits that are necessary to complete the deal.

Both AES Gener and Colbún not deliver more background about it until the completion of the negotiation process for a contract.
