In December 18 to 21, a delegation headed by CNPC President Jiang Jiemin paid a working visit in Saudi Arabia.

During his staying, Jiang Jiemin and Khalid A. Al-Falih, President and CEO of Saudi Aramco, had talks and reached extensive consensus on expanding crude trading and embarking cooperation in refining, petroleum engineering construction, oilfield services and material & equipment supply. The two signed an MOU on cooperation between CNPC and Saudi Aramco.

The delegation visited Saudi Aramco's Shiba oil and gas field, the exhibition hall, petroleum regulate and control centre, exploration and petroleum engineering research centre, calculating centre and training centre. Jiang Jiemin also inspected the camps of CNPC BGP and China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corp. in Dammam, and listened to the related work reports.
