Ezra Holdings Limited (Ezra, the Group), a leading global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, today announced that its subsea construction division, EMAS AMC, has been awarded a contract from Petroleum Technical Services Corporation Mechanical and Construction (PTSC M&C) for the transportation and installation of facilities for the Dua subsea field, which will be developed as a subsea tie-back to the Chim Sao Field in offshore Vietnam. The contract value is approximately US$47 million and will commence in the third quarter of 2012.

The contracted scope of work includes the transportation and installation-engineering, testing, inspection, offshore-installation and commissioning of subsea flowlines, structures, risers and umbilicals. The subsea installation work is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2013 and will take place in Block 12W in offshore Vietnam.

The Ezra group of companies has been involved in the life-of-field development at Chim Sao, from the fabrication of module stools at TRIYARDS in Vietnam to the provision, installation and commissioning of the floating production, storage and offloading vessel, the Lewek EMAS.

Mr Lionel Lee, Ezra’s Managing Director, said: “We look forward to working with Premier Oil and PTSC M&C again following our earlier involvement in the Chim Sao project. As offshore production in Asia gradually moves into deeper waters, the region presents a significant growth opportunity for subsea services. Ezra, which has made strategic investments to reinforce our subsea-engineering and projectmanagement capabilities, is in an exceptionally strong position to tap the increase in
demand.”
