Woodside welcomes the determination by Western Australian Environment Minister Bill Marmion on the appeals received in response to the Environmental Protection Authority’s conditional approval for the proposed Browse LNG Precinct.

Woodside, as operator of the Browse LNG Development, is the potential foundation proponent for the State Government’s precinct and is currently progressing plans to build and operate a 12 million tonne per annum LNG processing facility at the site.

The Minister’s determination is another significant milestone for the Browse LNG Development and we look forward to his final decision. Woodside remains on track to be in a position to make a final investment decision on the proposed development in the first half of 2013.
