Reference is made to the news that the local government of Binh Dinh province, Vietnam has publicly announced that Central Government of Vietnam has given a green light to the development of the petrochemical refinery project, which will be a part of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Development Plan. The project is set to receive an investment from PTT group of Thailand.

PTT would like to clarify that, PTT has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the local government of Binh Dinh. Under the MoU, the local government will request the Government of Vietnam for an approval to develop the project. If the project were to be approved, PTT will conduct a
detailed feasibility study within 12 months. The study will have to be submitted to PTT’s board of directors for its investment consideration.

Presently, PTT has not received any written notice from the Government of Vietnam regarding to the progress of this project.PTT will further inform of any significant development (if any).
