Alliance Oil Company completed the reconstruction of the reforming unit and the straight-run gasoline stabilization package, which separates gasoline fractions into single components, at the Khabarovsk Oil Refinery in order to increase gasoline production.

The reconstruction was carried out during the planned maintenance in April - early May 2013. The new installed equipment on the reforming unit and the straight-run gasoline stabilization package - compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, process furnaces and internal arrangement of columns – fully correspond with the requirements of industrial safety.

The reconstruction has resulted in improved efficiency of the refinery. The capacity of the straight-run gasoline stabilization package has increased by more than 30 per cent to 1,000,000 tons per year. The capacity of the reforming unit has increased from 350,000 to 390,000 tons per year. Thus, the refinery currently has capacity to produce about 500,000 tons of gasoline annually.
