KANFA Aragon AS has signed a contract with Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. for the delivery of a new Gas Dehydration package for the Aasta Hansteen SPAR platform to be operated in the Norwegian North Sea by Statoil.

The Gas Dehydration Package consist of a TEG Contactor including internals and a TEG Regeneration system. The scope of supply includes design, manufacture, testing, inspection, packing, mechanical completion, preservation and documentation in fully compliance with NORSOK. The technology is based on KANFA in-house design and confirms KANFA as one of the leading companies delivering TEG dehydration systems to the North Sea.

The SPAR platform, when completed in 2016, will be the largest of its kind with the capacity to produce 812 million cubic feet of gas per day.
