Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq:FWLT) announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Power Group has been awarded a contract by North West Redwater (NWR) Partnership for the design and supply of three model AG-5325 package steam generating systems located at NWR’s Sturgeon Refinery, Sturgeon County, Alberta.

Foster Wheeler has received a full notice to proceed (FNTP) on this contract. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed and the contract value for the FNTP will be included in the company’s fourth-quarter 2013 bookings. Delivery of the new steam generating systems is scheduled to begin in the first-quarter of 2015.

“Our package steam generator designs employ proven techniques and components for attaining or exceeding performance standards while meeting applicable environmental regulatory requirements,” said Byron Roth, Chief Executive Officer of Foster Wheeler North America Corp. “With over 475 installations worldwide, we have earned our reputation as a supplier of high-quality, reliable and cost-effective package steam generating systems.”
