On the 5th of November 2013, KANFA Group signed a Letter of Agreement with FMC Technologies contracted by Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. for the delivery of a new Produced Water and Sand Treatment Package for the Aasta Hansteen SPAR platform to be operated in the Norwegian Sea by Statoil.

The scope of supply includes design, manufacture, testing, inspection, packing, mechanical completion, preservation and documentation fully compliant with NORSOK and Statoil specification. KANFA is very proud to announce this fourth unit awarded for Statoil's Aasta Hansteen Project.

The SPAR platform, when completed in 2017, will be the largest of its kind with the capacity to produce 812 million cubic feet of gas per day.
