Designed to ensure reliable operation of production facilities and increase the volume of production of petroleum products, Petroleum Industry of Serbia has today begun repairing and reconstruction of the oil refinery in Pancevo. Overhaul of the refinery plant worth 480 million dinars, and the reconstruction of the complex fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) 14 million.

Repair and reconstruction of the NIS conducted in parallel with the modernization of the complex for hydrocracking. Overhaul will take 45 days, and it will be deployed 360 workers Pancevo refinery and refinery Novi Sad.

During the execution of repair works, NIS will continue to carry out all planned commitments has with its clients and to the domestic market was properly supplied with all kinds of petroleum products. Per day in refining the primary processing plants about 9.4 thousand tons of crude oil. Noticeable jump of the physical volume of primary and secondary processing plants followed, all aimed at creating optimal stocks of finished products to the domestic market was properly supplied with all kinds of finished products during the overhaul period.
