NAUTIC has been contracted by TL Offshore for the grouting of 4 Jacket Legs at an estimated water depth of 40m at the Satellite Platform South Acis Field, offshore Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia.

NAUTIC will mobilise its state-of-the-art Silo System to store and supply NaX™Q80 high performance grout at a pumping rate of 25 tons per hour, which allows for the grouting of the 4 Jacket Legs to be completed in just 2 days. The system is equipped with a non-radioactive densitometer to track and monitor the density of the grout in real time.

NaX™Q80 high performance grout was selected for its high early age strength, which will expedite the jacket installation within shorter weather windows.

The project will be carried out in October 2014.
