NAUTIC has completed the strengthening works on the jacket legs at LAM-28 platform offshore Turkmenistan as contracted by Dragon Oil Turkministan Ltd.

The strengthening works were carried out by means of grouting the annuli between the piles and legs of the old 6-legged jacket as well as the annuli between the newly added half frame and associated piles.

Good grout overflowNAUTIC supplied the Offshore Supervisors, all the equipment and used its own NaX™ Ultra High Performance Cementitious (UHPC) grout for the strengthening works.

NaX™ is a pumpable UHPC material especially developed for offshore applications. NaX™ develops extreme mechanical properties combined with low shrinkage, early strength development and unique fatigue performance making it perfectly suited for structural strengthening of compromised subsea steel structures.
