CB&I (NYSE: CBI) today announced it has been awarded a contract by NefteGazIndustriya, LLC, through project developer MAVEG GmbH, to provide engineering and procurement services for the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar, Russia.

CB&I's project scope includes early detail engineering and procurement services for multiple new process units, including a 2.5 million ton per annum hydrocracker unit licensed by Chevron Lummus Global, a joint venture between CB&I and Chevron, as well as hydrogen and sulfur units licensed by CB&I and other associated units. CB&I previously announced it is providing technology and FEED services.

"This award follows on the successful delivery of the front end engineering and design of the Afipsky Oil Refinery," said Patrick K. Mullen, President of CB&I's Engineering, Construction and Maintenance operating group. "The contract is a reflection of NefteGazIndustriya's confidence in our ability to offer our customers a more complete supply chain solution—showcasing our expertise in technology as well as engineering, procurement and construction management."
