Gazprom Neft and Slovenian Petrol sign Memorandum of Understanding

Gazprom Neft announces that Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom Neft, and Tomaž Berločnik, Chairman of the Management Board of Slovenian Petrol ('Petrol'), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed during Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, official visit to Slovenia.

The MoU between Gazprom Neft and Petrol sets out the parties' intentions to co-operate in the supply and distribution of oil products in Southern Europe and the Balkan States, where the Company is already represented through Serbian NIS.

"Co-operation with Petrol allows Gazprom Neft and NIS to further expand its activities in the Balkans. In addition, it strengthens our position in the region and facilitates achieving one of Gazprom Neft group strategic goals of becoming a key player in the Balkan market", stated Alexander Dyukov.
