ABB wins $20 million FPSO order
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has been awarded an oil and gas contract worth $20 million for providing power and automation technologies to a floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) built by the Chinese shipyard COSCO Nantong for Dana Petroleum. The contract was signed in the second quarter of 2013.

ABB wins $15 million oil and gas order in Australia
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has been appointed the main electrical contractor (MEC) for a new semi-submersible central processing facility (CPF) at the Ichthys oil and gas field in the Timor Sea off Western Australia. The order is valued at $15 million. ABB was awarded the MEC contract by the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the central processing facility, Samsung Heavy Industries. When completed in 2016 the CPF will be the largest offshore production facility in the world.

ABB wins $40 million order to upgrade oil transportation infrastructure in Italy
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has won a contract worth about $40 million to extend the export terminal of the eni refinery in Taranto, located in the “Mar Grande” bay on the Ionian Sea in southern Italy. The order was booked in the fourth quarter 2012.
The contract is part of eni’s plan to improve the refinery infrastructure and to ensure a reliable connection with the onshore Tempa Rossa oil plant. The refinery is located at the export terminal and is connected to the oil field through an underground pipeline. The plan includes the extension of an existing pier.
