Eni announces a giant natural gas discovery at the Mamba South 1 prospect, in the Area 4 Offshore Mozambique. The discovery well encountered a total of 212 meters of continuous gas pay in high-quality Oligocene sands.

Foster Wheeler Awarded PMC Contract for the Apache Khalda Qasr Compression Project in Egypt
Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq: FWLT) announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has received a contract from Apache Khalda Corporation for the provision of project management consultancy (PMC) services to oversee the front-end engineering design (FEED) for the Qasr Compression Project in Egypt.The Qasr Compression Project will provide additional compression to the existing facilities at the Qasr gas condensate field, in the Western Desert, approximately 525km west of Cairo.

Puma Energy acquires Chevron's marketing business in Namibia
Puma Energy International (“Puma”) has agreed to acquire Chevron’s fuel marketing businesses in Namibia. Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals in Namibia. The business will remain under Chevron’s ownership until all approvals have been obtained.

Paolo Scaroni meets with Libyan NTC in Tripoli
The business trip by Eni CEO Paolo Scaroni to Tripoli was held today. During the trip, Eni's delegation met with top level officials of the Libyan NTC and the National Oil Company. In addition, the delegation also visited Eni's offices in Tripoli to meet with local staff and to discuss the timing and arrangements for the restart of oil and gas production.

Harvest Natural Resources Discovers Oil in the Pre-Salt Offshore Gabon
Harvest Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: HNR) today announced that it has encountered oil in the wildcat well Dussafu Ruche Marin-1 (DRM-1) drilled in the Dussafu Marin PSC, in the offshore waters of Gabon, West Africa. Harvest operates the Dussafu PSC, holding a 66.667 percent interest. The well was spudded on April 28 and is being drilled to test the potential of the pre-salt Gamba and Dentale Formations.

Noble Energy Announces Farm-In Agreement Expanding West Africa Exploration Portfolio
Noble Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NBL) announced today that it has joined a venture that is exploring the AGC Profond block located offshore Senegal and Guinea-Bissau in West Africa. The AGC Profond block, covering more than two million gross acres in water depths up to 11,500 feet, is in a designated cooperation area between the two countries. The venture has identified a number of prospects and leads on the acreage. Approximately 45 percent of the block is covered by existing 3D seismic.

Ghana and Uganda well update: Banda-1, Jobi-East-1 and Mpyo-3
Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) announces that the Banda-1 exploration well in the West Cape Three Points licence offshore Ghana has discovered oil in Cenomanian-aged reservoirs and that the Jobi-East-1 and Mpyo-3 wells, in Exploration Area 1 (EA1) onshore Uganda, have both successfully encountered oil in line with pre-drill expectations.
