Uganda Sale and Purchase Agreements signed between Tullow, CNOOC and Total for $2.9 billion total cash consideration
Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) is delighted to announce that yesterday it signed Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) with CNOOC and Total in respect of the sale of a one third interest to each party of the interests Tullow holds in Exploration Areas 1, 2 and 3A in Uganda. Tullow will retain a one third interest. The terms of the transactions include a total cash consideration payable to Tullow of US$2.9 billion.

Gazprom Neft completes seismic survey work on the Equatorial Guinea shelf
Gazprom Neft has completed 3-D seismic survey work on the Equatorial Guinea shelf (block T) in the Niger Delta river basin. The seismic studies covered around 300 square kilometres of the block's area, which meets the company's commitments regarding the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) under whose conditions the project is being carried out.

UNX ENERGY UPDATES PROSPECTIVE RESOURCES FOR PETROLEUM LICENCE 2815 AND 2813
UNX Energy Corp. (TSXV: UNX) ("UNX", or the "Company"), an emerging oil and gas company with interests in the offshore of the Republic of Namibia, announced today that at the Company's request, DeGolyer and MacNaughton of Dallas, Texas, ("D&M") have completed Prospective Resources Evaluation Reports (the "D&M Reports") for UNX's Petroleum Exploration Licence ("PEL") 2815 which encompasses blocks 2815, 2816, and 2915, and PEL 2813. The Report for PEL 2813 is confined to the additions attributable to the Moosehead oil prospect that is on Block 2813A. Both D&M Reports were prepared in accordance with National Instrument 51-101 ("NI 51-101"), Sections 5.9 standards for review and assessment of prospective resources and is dated January 31, 2011.

HRT announces 3D seismic acquisition in Namibia
HRT Participações em Petróleo S.A (the “Company” or “HRT”)(BM&FBOVESPA: HRTP3) announces that on February 28 acquisition commenced on the 5,278 km² 3D seismic program over HRT’s offshore blocks 2112B and 2212A in Walvis Basin, as seen in the image attached hereto. This survey is being conducted by The Polarcus Naila vessel. In January 2011, HRT signed two seismic acquisition contracts with Polarcus.

Vitol, Helios and Shell reach agreement on African downstream businesses
Vitol today announced that, in partnership with Helios Investment Partners, it has agreed to purchase the majority of Shell’s shareholding in most of their downstream businesses in Africa for a total consideration of some $1 billion. Under the agreements, two new joint venture companies will assure continued availability of Shell fuels and lubricants in 14 African countries under the Shell brand.

Teak-1 exploration well discovers hydrocarbons offshore Ghana
Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) announces that the Teak-1 exploration well in the West Cape Three Points licence offshore Ghana has discovered approximately 73 metres of net hydrocarbons in two Campanian and three Turonian-aged reservoirs. The well was located 4.6 km northeast of the Mahogany-2 well, 2.7 km outside the Jubilee Unit boundary.
