Fluor Wins FEED Contract for LNG Terminal in Malaysia
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today following a formal signing ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that it was awarded a contract by PETRONAS Gas Berhad, a subsidiary of PETRONAS, to provide front-end engineering and design (FEED) services for a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Malaysia. The new terminal will supply gas to an adjacent 300-megawatt combined cycle power plant in the town of Lahad Datu, Sabah. Fluor booked the undisclosed contract value in the first quarter of 2012.

Axens Technologies for IRPC Public Company Limited in Thailand
IRPC Public Company Limited, a company specialized in the production of Petrochemical and Refining products in Thailand, selected Axens to supply technologies for its new Upstream Project for Hygiene and Value Added Product (UHV project). The complex is due to come on stream in 2015. The project aims at converting atmospheric residue to high value propylene and aromatics rich gasoline cut.

acquisition of 65% of Esso Malaysia Berhad “EMB”, a publicly-listed company in Malaysia, 100% of ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and 100% of ExxonMobil Borneo Sdn Bhd, for an aggregate purchase price of US$577.3 Million.

BPCL to expand Kochi refinery by 63%

East West Petroleum Signs NELP-IX Production Sharing Contract In India
East West Petroleum Corp. (the “Company” or “East West Petroleum”) is pleased to announce the Company has signed a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for Block AA-ONN-2010/2 with the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons of India in a signing ceremony held March 28th, 2012 in New Delhi. Partners in this NELP IX bid round Block are Oil India Ltd. (operator, 40%), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India (30%), and Gas Authority of India Ltd. (20%) and East West Petroleum (10%). The AA-ONN-2010/2 exploration Block lies in the Assam-Arakan Basin oil producing region of northeast India, a proven proliferous region where more than 100 fields have been found. Current production from the region is estimated at 95,000 boepd.

InterOil Provides Triceratops-2 Drilling Update and Extends LNG Project Agreements
InterOil Corporation (NYSE:IOC) (POMSoX:IOC) (“InterOil” or the "Company") announced that the Triceratops-2 well in Papua New Guinea was drilled from the 9 5/8 casing shoe at 4,111 feet (1,253 meters) to current total depth (TD) of 5,971 feet (1,820 meters). The top marl transition zone was encountered at 3,976 feet (1,212 meters) and the top of the carbonate reservoir at 4,482 feet (1,366 meters).

With the commissioning of Crude and Vacuum Distillation Unit-III(CDU/VDU-III) on March 29, 2012, production goes on stream from Phase-III Refinery Expansion-cum-Upgradation Project of MRPL. Thus, the name plate capacity of MRPL Refinery goes up to 15 MMTPA from 11.82 MMTPA.
