ABB wins contract worth more than $50 million for one of the world’s first floating LNG facilities
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has won a contract worth more than $50 million to supply the electrical system for one of the world’s first commercial floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facilities, and the second to be owned by Malaysian oil and gas company PETRONAS. It will be called “PFLNG2”.
The contract was awarded in the fourth quarter of 2014 by Japanese engineering contractor JGC Corporation. JGC is part of a consortium that is building the facility for PETRONAS, along with Samsung Heavy Industries of Korea.

Myanmar Section of the Myanmar-China Oil Pipeline starts trial operation
On January 30, the Myanmar section of the Myanmar-China Oil Pipeline jointly invested and built by CNPC and Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) was put into trial operation, and the Port of Maday Island was officially opened.

Farmout of Participating Interest in Deepwater Block R, Offshore East Malaysia
JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation (President: Mr. Shunsaku Miyake) is pleased to announce that as part of its portfolio strategy, its wholly owned subsidiary, JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration (Deepwater Sabah) Limited ("JX Deepwater Sabah") (President: Mr. Hironori Wasada), which is the operator of Deepwater Block R, offshore East Malaysia ("the Block") holding 37.5% participating interest in the Block has farmed out 10% participating interest to Santos Sabah Block R Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Santos Limited, a major Australian oil & gas exploration and production company.

JGC Wins EPCC Contract for LNG Complex Expansion Project in Malaysia
JGC Corporation announced today that, as a part of a consortium with JGC Group company, JGC Malaysia, it has been awarded a contract by PETRONAS LNG 9 Sdn. Bhd.(PL9SB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS. PETRONAS is Malaysia’s fully integrated oil and gas company.

Shangdong LNG Terminal Began Operation
On December 13, 2014, the Shangdong LNG terminal for which LPEC is an EPCC contractor received the first LNG ship and the LNG was loaded from the ship. This signifies that the LNG terminal was successfully commissioned and put into normal operation.

Idemitsu Kosan, Comment on Certain Media Report Released on December 20, 2014
On December 20, 2014, certain media reported that Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd.("Idemitsu") might acquire shares of Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K.,　Idemitsu has not made any announcement in this regard. Idemitsu is considering wide-scale business restructuring, and the two companies are discussing potential cooperation. However, no formal decision has been made regarding such cooperation.

Bumi Armada Consortium Signs Contract For The FPSO For The Madura Bd Field In Indonesia
Malaysia-based international offshore oilfield services provider, Bumi Armada Berhad (“Bumi Armada” or the “Company”) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary Bumi Armada Offshore Holdings Limited
(“BAOHL*”), together with its joint venture company, PT Armada Gema Nusantara ("PT AGN") (collectively, the “Consortium”), have, on the evening of 10th December 2014, been awarded a contract to supply one floating, production, storage and offloading vessel (“FPSO”) (“Contract”) for the Madura BD Field, approximately 65 km east of Surabaya and about 16km south of Madura Island, offshore Indonesia issued by Husky CNOOC Madura Limited (“HCML”).

The cumulative oil production in Block 15-2(Offshore Vietnam) reached 200 million barrels
Japan Vietnam Petroleum Company Ltd (JVPC) (President & CEO; Hironori Wasada) a subsidiary of JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation (President & CEO; Shunsaku Miyake) announced that the cumulative oil production in Block 15-2 reached 200 million barrels (※)in July this year.　(※) 200 million barrels is nearly equivalent to oil consumption for 43 days in Japan.

DIALOG-Shareholders Agreement between Dialog LNG & PGB
The Board of Directors of Dialog Group Berhad (“DIALOG”) wishes to announce that its wholly owned subsidiaries, Dialog LNG Sdn Bhd (“Dialog LNG”) and Pengerang LNG (Two) Sdn Bhd (“PLNG-2”) have on 14 November 2014 entered into a Shareholders’ Agreement ("SHA") with PETRONAS Gas Berhad (“PGB”) for the development of Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) regasification facilities comprising of a regasification unit and two (2) units of 200,000 m3 LNG storage tanks with an initial send out capacity of 3.5 million tonnes per annum (“MTPA”) (equivalent to approximately 490 million standard cubic feet per day (“MMscfd”) of natural gas at Pengerang, Southern Johor, Malaysia (“Pengerang LNG Project”). The total estimated project cost of the Pengerang LNG Project is approximately RM2.7 billion.
