First contract awarded to Tecnicas Reunidas by PETRONAS in Malaysia
PRPC Refinery and Cracker Sdn. Bhd. a subsidiary under the Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) group, Malaysia’s national oil and gas company, has awarded Técnicas Reunidas (TR) a contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) for a Refinery package in PETRONAS’ Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Pengerang, Johor, Malaysia.

Qatargas delivers a commissioning cargo to Hainan LNG Terminal in the People’s Republic of China
On 7 August Qatargas delivered the first cargo of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to China National Oil Corporation’s (CNOOC) Hainan LNG terminal located in the Hainan province. The cargo arrived aboard of a Q-Max class LNG vessel Rasheeda and it will be used to commission the new LNG terminal which CNOOC owns and will be operating soon.

Bumi Armada's Consortium Receives Letter Of Intent For An FPSO For The Madura BD Field In Indonesia
Malaysia-based international offshore oilfield services provider, Bumi Armada Berhad announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary Bumi Armada Offshore Holdings Limited (“BAOHL”), together with its joint venture company,PT Armada Gema Nusantara* ("PT AGN") (collectively, the “Consortium”), have been appointed as the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Vessel (the "FPSO") Lease Contractor for the Madura BD Field, approximately 65 km east of Surabaya and about 16km south of Madura Island, offshore Indonesia via a Letter of Intent (“LOI”) issued by Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited** (“HCML”).

INPEX Granted Environmental Permit for Abadi LNG Project from Indonesian Government
INPEX CORPORATION announced today that through its affiliated company INPEX Masela Ltd., it received an environmental permit from the Government of Indonesia based on the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of the Abadi LNG Project which is currently being prepared for development utilizing the Floating LNG (FLNG) concept.

Tangguh Expansion Project receives AMDAL approval and environmental permit
BP announced today that the Government of Indonesia, through the Ministry of Environment, has approved the Tangguh Expansion Project Integrated AMDAL environmental and social impact assessment and issued the project an environmental permit. The AMDAL includes Tangguh’s environmental and social commitments. It also outlines the role of the local administration and central government. Approval is required for project activities to begin at the Tangguh site.
