Axens selected as licensor for clean fuel technologies for SOCAR Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery
As a major licensor for clean fuel production, Axens has been selected for the modernization project of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery that will enable the refinery, located at Baku, to increase its annual processing capacity, from 6.0 to 7.5 Mtpa (million tons per annum), and produce high-quality Euro 5 fuels. This project is today one of the most important projects of SOCAR at a downstream stage.

FMC Technologies Awarded $297 Million Contract for Subsea Production Systems for Shah Deniz Stage 2 Project
FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI) announced today that it has received an order from BP Exploration (Shah Deniz) Ltd. to supply subsea production systems for Well Clusters 3-5 of the Shah Deniz Stage 2 project in the Caspian Sea. The order has an estimated value of $297 million in revenue and is in addition to the initial order for Well Clusters 1-2 received in 2014 from BP, the operator of the Shah Deniz Stage 2 project. The Shah Deniz field is located offshore in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea, approximately 100km south of Baku.

Statoil sells 15.5% share in Shah Deniz to PETRONAS for USD 2.2 billion
Statoil (OSE: STL, NYSE: STO) has sold its 15.5% participating interest in the Shah Deniz production sharing agreement, 15.5% share in the South Caucasus Pipeline Company (SCPC), 15.5% share in the SCPC holding company, and 12.4% share in the Azerbaijan Gas Supply Company (AGSC) to the Malaysian oil and gas company PETRONAS. The transaction value is USD 2.25 billion.

Wood Group Kenny awarded major subsea contract for stage 2 of Shah Deniz development
Wood Group Kenny (WGK) has been awarded a £36 million call-off contract, for 2014, with BP Azerbaijan under their 2007 Global Agreement. The contract will cover engineering and project management services for the Shah Deniz 2 Subsea Execute phase.

Azerbaijan: Total Sells Its 10% Interest In Shah Deniz To TPAO
Total today signed an agreement to sell its 10% interest in the Shah Deniz field and the South Caucasus Pipeline to TPAO, the Turkish state-owned E&P company. The transaction is valued at $1.5 billion and is subject to customary approvals.

CB&I Awarded Contract for the South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion Project
CB&I (NYSE: CBI) today announced it has been awarded a contract valued in excess of $85 million by a consortium led by BP for engineering and project management services for the development of the South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion (SCPX) project, part of the Stage 2 development of the Shah Deniz field located in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea. The South Caucasus Pipeline is a pipeline that transports gas from the Shah Deniz field to Turkey via Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Production begins at West Chirag platform

KBR Awarded Major Engineering Design Contract by BP for Shah Deniz Stage 2 Project
KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced that it was awarded a contract by BP Exploration (Shah Deniz) Limited to provide detailed engineering and procurement support services for the Shah Deniz Stage 2 Project located in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea. It will be booked into backlog in Q4 2013.
