Baker Hughes Announces June 2011 Rig Counts
Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE:BHI) announced today that the international rig count for June 2011 was 1,158, up 7 from the 1,151 counted in May 2011, and up 59 from the 1,099 counted in June 2010. The international offshore rig count for June 2011 was 298, down 8 from the 306 counted in May 2011 and down 14 from the 312 counted in June 2010.

Chevron Awards Baker Hughes Contract for Deepwater ESP Systems
Chevron U.S.A. Inc. has awarded Baker Hughes (BHI: NYSE) a contract to supply electrical submersible pumping (ESP) systems and production packers for seven producing wells, plus mud line packers for three injection wells for their Gulf of Mexico deepwater Big Foot Project. This award marks the first deployment of ESP systems inside the wellbore in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The ESP systems will be placed at a true vertical depth of approximately 16,000 feet.

Baker Hughes Announces November 2010 Rig Counts
Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE:BHI) announced today that the international rig count for November 2010 was 1,130, up 31 from the 1,099 counted in October 2010, and up 105 from the 1,025 counted in November 2009. The international offshore rig count for November 2010 was 320, up 15 from the 305 counted in October 2010 and up 36 from the 284 counted in November 2009.
The US rig count for November 2010 was 1,683, up 15 from the 1,668 counted in October 2010 and up 576 from the 1,107 counted in November 2009. The Canadian rig count for November 2010 was 420, up 22 from the 398 counted in October 2010 and up 143 from the 277 counted in November 2009.
The worldwide rig count for October 2010 was 3,233, up 68 from the 3,165 counted in October 2010 and up 824 from the 2,409 counted in November 2009.

The international offshore rig count for October 2010 was 305, down 12 from the 317 counted in September 2010 and up 38 from the 267 counted in October 2009.
