LUKOIL AND BASHNEFT ESTABLISH JOINT VENTURE TO DEVELOP R.TREBS AND A.TITOV FIELDS
OAO LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov and OAO ANK Bashneft President Alexander Korsik signed agreements in LUKOIL’s Central Offices in Moscow today. Under one of the agreements, LUKOIL acquires a 25.1% share in OOO Bashneft-Polus who holds the license for Roman Trebs and Anatoly Titov oil fields. The other document signed is a joint venture partner agreement.

Fire at JSC NOVOIL UFA Refinery Extinguished
March 28, 2011 at the refinery OAO NOVOIL(Ufa) ignited the tank with oil. Currently, on-site fire works fire brigades. Work is underway to extinguish the fire, cooling the surrounding reservoirs, pumping oil from the damaged tank. The situation is under control, the fire is localized, affected by the fire there. Threat to the population and structures of the plant, as well as the threat of oil spills there. Refinery production units are working normally.

Foster Wheeler Awarded Contract for New Terrace WallTM Steam Reformer in Russia
Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq: FWLT) announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by JSC Novo-Ufimsky Refinery, a subsidiary of Russian oil company Bashneft, for the engineering and material supply of a new Terrace WallTM steam reformer heater and air preheating system for the Ufa refinery in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia.
