BG Group starts up sixth FPSO in the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil
BG Group (LSE: BG.L), a world leader in exploration and LNG, today announced first oil from the Cidade de Itaguaí floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, the sixth unit to start production across the Group's significant discoveries in the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil. The FPSO will produce from the Iracema North area of the Lula field in the Petrobras-operated BM-S-11 block.

BG Group loads first LNG cargo from QCLNG project in Australia
BG Group (LSE: BG.L), a world leader in exploration and LNG, today announced that it has been loading the first cargo of LNG from its Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) facility since 28 December. The vessel being loaded is the Methane Rita Andrea. The second cargo of LNG from the facility will be loaded onto the Methane Mickie Harper which is expected in Gladstone in the first week of January.

Fairmount tugs succesfully delivered FPSO Petrojarl Knarr to Norway
Three tugs of Fairmount Marine have towed the brand new FPSO Petrojarl Knarr from South Korea to Norway in just 61 days. Petrojarl Knarr, one of world’s largest floating production and storage units (FPSO) for harsh environments, was delivered in the port of Haugesund, Norway, September 16th 2014.

Mzia well test supports potential hub development offshore Tanzania

Mr. Tevin Vongvanich, President and CEO of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP, disclosed that on April 3, 2014, PTTEP Brasil Investimentos em Exploração e Produção de Petróleo e Gás Ltda. or PTTEP BL, a subsidiary of PTTEP signed Farm-in/Farm-out Agreement with BG E&P Brasil Ltda. (BG Brasil) for 4 predominantly deep water blocks with 25% participation interest. This is PTTEP’s first step in expanding investment in petroleum exploration in South America.

Oil & Gas UK Welcomes The News That BG Group and Maersk Oil Will Develop Two New Projects
