BG Group secures $1.8bn US Ex-Im Loan
BG Group today announced that it has secured a $1.8 billion loan from the Export-Import Bank of the United States (US Ex-Im). The loan, which marks further progress in the Group’s funding diversification plans, is also designed to support the export of US services and equipment for the ongoing delivery of the Queensland Curtis LNG project in Australia which is on schedule for first gas in 2014.

Technip awarded an important EPCI contract for the G1200 to develop the Starfish field in Trinidad and Tobago
Technip was awarded by BG International Ltd (BG) a lump sum engineering, procurement, commissioning and installation (EPCI) contract for the development of the Starfish field. Located in the East Coast Marine Area, offshore Trinidad, the field lies at a water depth of approximately 130 meters and will be tied back to the existing Dolphin ‘A’ Platform operated by BG.

BG Group signs Heads of Agreement for sale of QCLNG stake and new LNG supply
BG Group today announces that it has signed a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) for the sale of certain interests in the Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) project in Australia for $1.93 billion and the sale of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from BG Group’s global LNG portfolio. Fully-termed transaction agreements are expected to be executed in the first half of 2013, and upon closing, CNOOC will reimburse BG Group for its share of QCLNG project capital expenditures incurred from 1 January 2012.

Agreement reached for $470m sale of GGCL stake
BG Group today announced it had reached agreement to sell its majority interest in India’s Gujarat Gas Company Limited (GGCL) for approximately INR 24.6 billion or $470 million to GSPC Distribution Networks Limited, a subsidiary of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation.

Enagás completes acquisition of 20% stake in the Quintero LNG regasification terminal in Chile
Enagás has completed the acquisition of BG Group of a 20% ownership of the Terminal Quintero LNG Regasification SA in Chile, for $ 176 million, as agreed in April, after obtaining all necessary approvals.

Spectra Announces Project Development Agreement with BG Group for New Natural Gas Transportation System in British Columbia
Spectra Energy Corp (NYSE: SE) today announced that the company has signed a Project Development Agreement with BG Group plc (LSE: BG.L) to jointly develop plans for a new natural gas transportation system from northeast B.C. to serve BG Group’s potential liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Prince Rupert, on the province’s northwest coast. Spectra Energy and BG Group will each initially own a 50 percent interest in the proposed transportation project. Spectra Energy will be responsible for construction and operation and BG Group has agreed to contract for all of the proposed capacity.
