LUKOIL: €420 million for the modernisation of a Bulgarian refinery
Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, acting as Global Coordinator, MLA and Lender, BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking, acting as Facility Agent, MLA and Lender, ING Bank, a Branch of ING-DiBa AG acting as Environmental Agent, MLA and Lender, UniCredit Group acting through UniCredit Bank Austria acting as MLA and Lender and UniCredit SpA acting as MLA and SACE Agent and SACE have successfully closed a 10 year EURO 420 million SACE backed export credit facility to Lukoil Neftohim Burgas AD (“LNB”), a subsidiary of OJSC “Oil Company “LUKOIL” (OAO “LUKOIL”), one of the world’s leading vertically integrated oil & gas companies.

This export credit facility, 95% covered by SACE, is intended to finance the modernisation of the Bulgarian refinery.

Total Enters Exploration in Bulgaria with Award of the Khan Asparuh Offshore License
Total today announced the signature with the Bulgarian authorities of the exploration contract concerning the offshore Khan Asparuh license, awarded under the licensing round that opened last January 31. The 14,220-sq.km block is located approximately 80 kilometers offshore in the Black Sea in water depths of between 100 and 2,000 meters.

On September 30, 2011 the international planning company on realization of the project of the oil pipeline “Burgas – Alexandroupolis”, “Trans-Balkan Pipeline B.V.”, submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of Bulgaria the fourth revised variant of documents on Assessment of impact of the project on the environment and on the social setting (AIESS).

ICGB AD and Consortium Penspen Ltd - C&M Engineering S.A Sign Greece Bulgaria Interconnector Contract
On August 11 2011, in Sofia, the contract for the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) was signed between “ICGB AD” and the Consortium Penspen Ltd. - C&M Engineering S.A. The Consortium was awarded the contract as a conclusion of an international tender issued in January 2011, in which worldwide renowned engineering firms participated.
