Shah Deniz Stage 2 Project Enters the Next Phase of Development
The Shah Deniz consortium has reached an important milestone and approved the decision to commence Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) on the estimated $25 billion Shah Deniz Stage 2 project. This was officially announced in Baku today during the meeting between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Ilham Aliyev and Bob Dudley, Group Chief Executive of BP, the Operator of Shah Deniz, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan.

Jacobs Receives Contract from Afipsky Refinery in Russia
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract from Afipsky Refinery, located in the Krasnodarskij Region of Russia, to develop a basic engineering package for an amine regenerator unit, a sour water stripper and an expected 55 tons per day (TPD) sulfur recovery unit (SRU). All three units are part of a refinery extension project which includes a hydrotreater unit and a visbreaker unit.

Vankor Oil Output Exceeds Planned Volumes by 218,000 Tonnes
Vankorneft, a Rosneft subsidiary, produced 3.968 million tonnes of oil in the first quarter of this year (as of 27.03.2012), which is 218,000 tonnes (6%) more than targeted in the business plan. This also represents a 21% increase year-on-year (of 690,000 tonnes).

Rosneft Reserve Replacement Ratio Over 160%, Gas Reserves More Than Double, Hydrocarbon Resources Almost Triple
According to the results of an audit performed by DeGolyer & MacNaughton under the SEC life-of-field classification, Rosneft's proven hydrocarbon reserves as of December 31, 2011 stood at 17,618 million BOE. Of this total, oil reserves stood at 14,286 million barrels (1,960 million tons) and gas reserves at 19,995 billion cubic feet (566 billion cubic metres). These figures put Rosneft's reserve replacement ratio at 162%. The Company's gas reserves have grown 2.3 times compared to the level registered at the end of 2010. This significant increase in gas reserves is due to a review of reserves at the Company's largest gas field, Kharampurskoye.

The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Leonid Mikhelson, Chairman of the NOVATEK Management Committee. Taking part in the meeting was also Andrey Akimov, Chairman of the Gazprombank Management Board.
