Statoil awarded licences offshore Canada
Statoil has been awarded interests in four new licences offshore Canada. The new acreage underlines the company's ambitions in the area.

Osum Announces $100 Million Private Placement
Osum Oil Sands Corp. ("Osum" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement (an "Investment Agreement") to issue, on a private placement basis, to a wholly-owned subsidiary of Korea Investment Corporation ("KIC") 7,692,308 common shares at $13.00 per share for total gross proceeds of approximately $100 million. The Investment Agreement also provides KIC with the right to participate in future equity financings, board observer rights and, in the event that KIC holds more than 10% of the outstanding common shares, the right to designate a nominee of the board of directors of Osum. After giving effect to the private placement, KIC will hold less than 10% of the outstanding common shares. The transaction is expected to close on or about November 26th, 2010 subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Tourmaline Oil Corp. Announces Closing Of $228 Million Initial Public Offering
Tourmaline Oil Corp. ("Tourmaline") is pleased to announce that it has closed its initial public offering of 10,000,000 common shares at a price of $21.00 per share. Concurrent with the closing of the initial public offering, Michael L. Rose and Robert N. Yurkovich, directors and senior officers of Tourmaline, purchased a total of 850,000 common shares at the offering price of $21.00 per share on a private placement basis. The gross proceeds from the offering and concurrent private placement totalled $227.85 million.

PTTEP joins Statoil as partner in Canadian oil sands
Statoil (OSE: STL, NYSE: STO) has agreed to sell a 40% interest in its oil sands project in Alberta, Canada (Kai Kos Dehseh) to PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) of Thailand.

Aker Solutions wins Hebron GBS project
Kiewit-Aker Contractors, a 50/50 joint venture between Peter Kiewit Infrastructure and Aker Solutions, has been awarded a contract by ExxonMobil Canada Properties (EMCP) for the Hebron Project gravity based structure (GBS). The contract is for Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) and site preparation, with the option at ExxonMobil's discretion to subsequently provide detailed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services. The contract value for Aker Solutions' share of the FEED and site preparation is USD 70 million.

UNX Energy Announces $30,030,000 Bought Deal Financing
UNX Energy Corp. (TSXV: UNX) (“UNX” or the “Company”), a junior oil and gas company with interests offshore Namibia, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. (“Macquarie”), on behalf of a syndicate of underwriters led by Macquarie that includes Cormark Securities Inc., Clarus Securities Inc., FirstEnergy Capital Corp., Raymond James Ltd. and Octagon Capital Corp. (collectively the “Underwriters”) pursuant to which the Underwriters have agreed to purchase for resale to the public, on a bought deal basis, 9,100,000 common shares of the Company (“Common Shares”) (the “Offered Shares”) at CAD$3.30 per Common Share (the “Issue Price”) for gross proceeds of CAD$30,030,000 (the “Offering”). The Company has also granted to the Underwriters an over-allotment option entitling the Underwriters to acquire, at the Issue Price, up to an additional 1,365,000 Common Shares or such lesser number of Common Shares equal to the over-allocation position determined at the closing of the Offering. The over-allotment option is exercisable by the Underwriters, in whole or in part, at any time for 30 days following closing of the Offering.

Apache Completes Acquisition of BP Canada Assets
Apache Corporation (NYSE, Nasdaq: APA) today announced that its subsidiary has completed its acquisition of substantially all of BP's upstream natural gas business in western Alberta and British Columbia. The transaction is the second closing of Apache's previously announced three-part acquisition of BP assets.

Repsol signs a multiyear LNG supply agreement with Qatargas
Repsol and Qatargas today signed a multiyear LNG agreement under which Qatargas will supply LNG to Repsol Energy Canada Ltd. at the Canaport™ LNG facility in Saint John, New Brunswick. The agreement was signed at Qatargas’s headquarters in Doha (Qatar).

UNX Energy Appoints Mr. Brad Holub As Chief Operating Officer
UNX Energy Corp. Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO, President and CEO: Yutaka Yamada) has acquired ASRC Energy Services Tri Ocean Engineering Ltd. (Tri Ocean) from ASRC Energy Services Inc., a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (headquartered in Alaska, U.S.A).
