Energy Transfer Partners Announces That Rover Pipeline is Fully Subscribed to 3.25 Billion Cubic Feet of Natural Gas Per Day
Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (NYSE: ETP) today announced it has secured additional long-term binding shipper agreements on its Rover natural gas pipeline project to connect Marcellus and Utica shale supplies to markets in the Midwest, Great Lakes and Gulf Coast regions of the United States and Canada. As a result of the additional agreements, the pipeline is fully subscribed through 15 and 20 year fee-based contracts to transport 3.25 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of capacity.

Pembina Pipeline Corporation Announces Resthaven Plant Expansion

Canada’s North West Redwater Partnership has selected Emerson Process Management, a global business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR), to provide automation services and technology for the first phase of the innovative Sturgeon refinery northeast of Edmonton, Alberta. Expected value of the contract to Emerson is approximately US$86 million.

Fluor Secures Canadian Oil Sands Contract
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) was awarded an engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction contract by Fort Hills Energy L.P. for the utilities scope of the Fort Hills oil sands mining project. The project is located about 90 kilometers north of Fort McMurray in Alberta, Canada. Fluor booked the contract for $1.3 billion in the third quarter of 2014.

Linde awarded engineering contract for LNG plant in Canada
Technology company The Linde Group has been awarded a contract to provide engineering and procurement services for a 2.1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) natural gas liquefaction plant for Woodfibre LNG Limited, a subsidiary of energy resources development company Pacific Oil & Gas (PO&G). The Woodfibre LNG Project will be located in the District of Squamish near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Harvest Operations Announces Sale of Newfoundland Refinery and Related Marketing and Retail Operations
Harvest Operations Corp. (Harvest) announced today it has reached an agreement to sell its 100 percent ownership in North Atlantic Refining Limited (NARL) to SilverRange Financial Partners LLC (SilverRange) of New York, New York. The sale includes NARL's Canadian refining and marketing businesses in Newfoundland. The refining business is comprised of a 115,000 barrel-per-day crude oil refinery in Come By Chance, Nfld. while the marketing business includes gas stations and other assets that sell petroleum products to local markets. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
