Chariot Oil & Gas, Acquisition of Offshore Exploration Blocks, Mauritania
Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM: CHAR), the independent Africa focused oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Chariot Oil & Gas Investments (Mauritania) Ltd. has entered into a production sharing contract (the “Contract”) with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania (“Mauritania” or the “State”) for a 90% interest and operatorship in offshore Block C19, which covers an area of 14,125 km². The Contract remains subject to routine approval by the State before it becomes effective.

Commencement of Drilling on the Tapir South Prospect
Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM: CHAR), the independent Africa focused oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Enigma Oil & Gas Exploration (Pty) Limited, has commenced drilling the first well, 1811/5-1, of its 4 to 5 well drilling programme offshore Namibia. Drilling operations began this morning on the Tapir South prospect using the Maersk Deliverer semi-submersible drilling rig, with Chariot as Operator.

Change of equity ownership in Licence 20, Block 2714A, offshore Namibia
Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM:CHAR), the Africa focused independent oil and gas exploration company, notes that its partners in Southern Block 2714A, Petrobras Oil & Gas B.V. (“Petrobras”) and BP Exploration (Namibia) Limited (“BP”), have completed a transaction whereby BP has acquired a further 20% equity interest in Block 2714A from Petrobras.

Chariot Oil & Gas Farm-out Agreement Signed with BP in Block 2714A
Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM: CHAR) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Enigma Oil & Gas Exploration (Pty) Limited (“Enigma”), has entered into a farm-out agreement with BP Plc (“BP”), one of the world‟s largest integrated energy companies, whereby BP will acquire a 50% share of Chariot‟s equity interest in Southern Block 2714A (Licence 20). As announced on 28 June 2011, Petrobras has elected to take up operatorship and retains a 50% stake in the block.

CPR confirms Chariot’s estimate of gross mean prospective resource volumes
Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM: CHAR), the Africa focused oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to announce the results from its independent Competent Person’s Report (“CPR”) from Netherland Sewell & Associates Inc. (“NSAI”) which reports a gross P50 unrisked prospective resource volumes of 9.03 billion barrels with a gross mean unrisked prospective resource volumes of 10.08 billion barrels for its 4 licences
offshore Namibia.
