Cheniere and EDP Sign 20-Year LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement
Cheniere Energy, Inc. ("Cheniere") (NYSE MKT: LNG) announced today that its subsidiary, Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC ("Corpus Christi Liquefaction"), has entered into a liquefied natural gas ("LNG") sale and purchase agreement ("SPA") with EDP Energias de Portugal S.A. ("EDP") under which EDP has agreed to purchase approximately 0.77 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") of LNG upon the commencement of operations of Train 3 of the LNG export facility being developed near Corpus Christi, Texas (the "Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project"). The Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project is being designed and permitted for up to three trains, with aggregate design production capacity of approximately 13.5 mtpa of LNG.

FERC Staff Issues Final Environmental Impact Statement on the Corpus Christi LNG Project
The staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission or FERC) has prepared a final environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Corpus Christi LNG Project (Project). The Project is proposed by Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC and Cheniere Corpus Christi Pipeline, L.P. (collectively referred to as Cheniere). All land-based facilities associated with the Project are located in San Patricio County, Texas, with the marine facilities located in Nueces County, Texas.

Cheniere and Pertamina Sign Additional 20-Year LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement
Cheniere Energy, Inc. ("Cheniere") (NYSE MKT: LNG) announced today that its subsidiary, Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC ("Corpus Christi Liquefaction"), has entered into a liquefied natural gas ("LNG") sale and purchase agreement ("SPA") with PT Pertamina (Persero) ("Pertamina") under which Pertamina has agreed to purchase approximately 0.76 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") of LNG upon the commencement of operations of Train 2 of the LNG export facility being developed near Corpus Christi, Texas (the "Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project"). The SPA is in addition to the previously announced SPA under which Pertamina will purchase approximately 0.76 mtpa of LNG, bringing the total quantity of LNG sold to Pertamina under the two agreements to approximately 1.52 mtpa. The Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project is being designed and permitted for up to three trains, with aggregate design production capacity of 13.5 mtpa of LNG.

Cheniere Enters into Lump Sum Turnkey Contracts with Bechtel for Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project
Cheniere Energy, Inc. ("Cheniere") (NYSE MKT: LNG) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC ("Corpus Christi Liquefaction") and Bechtel Oil, Gas and Chemicals, Inc. ("Bechtel") have entered into two lump sum turnkey contracts for the engineering, procurement and construction ("EPC") of LNG trains and related facilities being developed near Corpus Christi, Texas (the "Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project"). The Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project is expected to be constructed in stages, with each LNG train commencing operations on a staggered basis. Work under the EPC contract is expected to commence in 2014, subject to Corpus Christi Liquefaction reaching a positive final investment decision ("FID"). Operation of the first LNG train is expected to commence in 2018.
