Centrica signs long-term North American LNG export contract with Cheniere
Centrica plc has entered into an agreement with Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P, to purchase 91,250,000 mmbtu (89 billion cubic feet) of annual liquefied natural gas (LNG) volumes for export from the Sabine Pass liquefaction plant in Louisiana in the United States. This amounts to approximately 1.75 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa), and is the equivalent of the annual gas demand of around 1.8 million UK homes. The contract is for an initial 20 year period, with the option for a 10 year extension, and the target date for first commercial delivery is September 2018.

Cheniere Partners Enters into Lump Sum Turnkey Contract with Bechtel for Trains 3 and 4 at Sabine Pass Liquefaction
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. ("Cheniere Partners") (NYSE MKT: CQP) announced today that its subsidiary, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine Liquefaction"), and Bechtel Oil, Gas and Chemicals, Inc. ("Bechtel") have entered into a lump sum turnkey contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of the third and fourth liquefaction trains to be constructed adjacent to the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana (the "Trains 3&4 EPC Contract"). Sabine Liquefaction intends to give Bechtel a notice to proceed ("NTP") with construction for the third and fourth liquefaction trains upon achieving acceptable financing arrangements and making a final investment decision. Construction for the third and fourth trains is expected to begin in the first half of 2013. Sabine Liquefaction issued NTP to Bechtel and commenced full construction for the first two liquefaction trains in August 2012.

Cheniere and Total Sign 20-Year LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement for LNG Exports from Sabine Pass
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. ("Cheniere Partners") (NYSE MKT: CQP) announced today that its subsidiary, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine Liquefaction"), has entered into a liquefied natural gas ("LNG") sale and purchase agreement ("SPA") with Total Gas & Power North America, Inc. ("Total") under which Total has agreed to purchase 91,250,000 MMBtu of LNG annually plus 13,500,000 MMBTU of seasonal LNG volumes upon the commencement of train five operations. These volumes represent approximately 2.0 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") of the approximately 4.5 mtpa of nominal capacity of train five being developed at Sabine Liquefaction.

Total Signs a Commercial Agreement with Kogas for LNG
Total announces that its gas trading affiliate Total Gas & Power Limited has signed an agreement with South Korean national company Kogas (Korea Gas Corporation) for the purchase of 0.7 million metric tons per year of LNG from the Sabine Pass terminal in Louisiana for a duration of twenty years.

Cheniere Issues Notice to Proceed ("NTP") for Construction of First Two Liquefaction Trains
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. ("Cheniere Partners") (NYSE MKT: CQP) announced today that it has completed all milestones and has issued a full notice to proceed to Bechtel Oil, Gas and Chemicals, Inc. Cheniere Files FERC and DOE Applications for Proposed Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project
Cheniere Energy, Inc. ("CEI") (NYSE MKT: LNG) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC ("Corpus Christi Liquefaction"), has filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC") for authorization to site, construct and operate a liquefied natural gas ("LNG") export facility to be located near Corpus Christi, Texas ("Corpus Christi Project"). The proposed Corpus Christi Project is being designed for up to three liquefaction trains with an aggregate peak capacity of 15 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa"). Corpus Christi Liquefaction had previously received approval from the FERC to commence the National Environmental Policy Act ("NEPA") pre-filing process for the Corpus Christi Project in December 2011.

Cheniere Partners Closes $3.6B Credit Facility for Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. ("Cheniere Partners") (NYSE MKT: CQP) announced today that Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine Liquefaction") closed on a credit facility ("Credit Facility") that will be used to fund the costs of developing, constructing and placing into service the first two liquefaction trains of the Sabine Pass liquefaction project (the "Liquefaction Project"). The Credit Facility was upsized to an aggregate $3.6 billion and is held by a syndicate of eleven joint lead arrangers and ten additional banks and financial institutions. The closing of the Credit Facility completes the debt financing necessary to construct the first two trains of the Liquefaction Project.

Cheniere Partners Receives $3.4B Firm Lender Commitments for Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. ("Cheniere Partners") (NYSE Amex: CQP) announced today that it has received executed firm financial commitments in aggregate of approximately $3.4 billion to fund the costs of developing, constructing and placing into service the first two liquefaction trains of the Sabine Pass LNG liquefaction project (the "Liquefaction Project"). Commitments for a Term Loan A ("Credit Facility") were received from all of the previously announced joint lead arranger banks and from additional banks and financial institutions ("Lenders"). As a result, Cheniere Partners has decided to upsize the Credit Facility and withdraw the previously announced syndication of a $1.25 billion Term Loan B facility.

Cheniere Agrees to Sell $2B of Equity for Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. ("Cheniere Partners") (NYSE Amex: CQP) announced today that it has entered into a Unit Purchase Agreement ("Agreement") with investment funds managed by Blackstone Energy Partners L.P. and Blackstone Capital Partners VI L.P. (collectively with their affiliates "Blackstone"). Under the Agreement, Blackstone has agreed to purchase $1.5 billion newly issued CQP Class B units ("Class B Units") from Cheniere Partners in a private placement. As previously announced, Cheniere Energy, Inc. ("CEI") has also agreed to purchase $500 million newly issued Class B Units pursuant to a separate unit purchase agreement. Proceeds from the financings will be used to fund the equity portion of the costs of developing, constructing and placing into service the Sabine Pass LNG liquefaction project being developed adjacent to the Sabine Pass LNG terminal (the "Liquefaction Project"), to purchase the Creole Trail Pipeline from Cheniere Energy, Inc. and to fund modifications to the Creole Trail Pipeline and for other partnership business purposes.
