Cheniere Signs MOU for LNG Sales to Basic Energy, a Dominican Republic Power Generator
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE Amex: CQP) ("Cheniere Partners") announced today that its subsidiary, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine"), has signed memoranda of understanding ("MOUs") with Empresa Generadora de Electricidad Haina, SA ("EGE Haina") and Compania de Electricidad de San Pedro de Macoris ("CESPM"), companies managed by Basic Energy, (hereafter referred to as Basic Energy), under which Basic Energy intends to purchase up to 0.6 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") of liquefied natural gas ("LNG") through arrangements with Sabine. These companies operate in the Dominican Republic, which is a free trade nation where Sabine has already received approval from the Department of Energy to export LNG.

Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE Amex: CQP) ("Cheniere Partners") announced today that its subsidiary, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine"), has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding ("MOU") with Sumitomo Corporation ("Sumitomo"), under which Sumitomo intends to contract up to approximately 1.5 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") of processing capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

Cheniere Signs MOU with EDF Trading for Bi-Directional Processing Capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG Terminal
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE Amex: CQP) announced today that its subsidiary, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine"), has signed a memorandum of understanding ("MOU") with EDF Trading, a wholly owned subsidiary of EDF S.A., under which EDF Trading intends to contract between 0.7 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") and 1.5 mtpa, equivalent to approximately one to two billion cubic meters ("bcm") of processing capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

(NYSE Amex: CQP) ("Cheniere Partners") announced today that its subsidiary, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine"), has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding ("MOU") with Morgan Stanley Capital Group Inc. ("Morgan Stanley") in connection with the potential acquisition by Morgan Stanley of certain import capacity and approximately twenty percent of a proposed 7.0 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") of LNG liquefaction capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
