Technip awarded subsea contract by Chevron North Sea
Technip was awarded by Chevron North Sea Ltd a substantial(1) engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contract for the Alder field. Chevron is developing the Alder field as a subsea tieback to the Britannia Bridge Link Platform (BLP). The 3,000th tanker has been loaded at the Marine Terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium in Novorossiysk since the start of operations. The tanker, CE-NIRIIS with a deadweight of 106,504 tons (owned by Marine Trust LTD, Greece) completed loading at 5:15 pm local time on June 26.
