Chevron Announces First Gas from the Chuandongbei Project in Southwest China
hevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) announced today that its fully-owned subsidiary Unocal East China Sea, Ltd. began natural gas production from the first stage of the Chuandongbei Project in southwest China. Chuandongbei is one of the largest onshore gas projects developed by an international oil company and a national oil company in China.

ENGIE’s first LNG cargo for Beijing city unloaded in Chinese Caofeidian terminal

Technip awarded FEED contract for the Liuhua fields in the South China Sea

Rosneft and CNPC Endorse Feasibility Study for Construction of the Tianjin Refinery
The Board of Directors of the PetroChina-Rosneft Orient Petrochemical (Tianjin) Company Ltd (a joint venture of Rosneft and the Chinese National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC)) endorsed the Feasibility Study (FS) for the project to construct the Tianjin refinery as regards the oil refining package at a meeting in Beijing.

Hallin Marine, a Superior Energy Services company, announces the highly successful outcome of a unique project for COOEC Subsea Technology, a wholly-own subsidiary of COOEC (China Offshore Oil Engineering Company). Qatargas delivers a commissioning cargo to Hainan LNG Terminal in the People’s Republic of China
On 7 August Qatargas delivered the first cargo of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to China National Oil Corporation’s (CNOOC) Hainan LNG terminal located in the Hainan province. The cargo arrived aboard of a Q-Max class LNG vessel Rasheeda and it will be used to commission the new LNG terminal which CNOOC owns and will be operating soon.
