Rosneft and CNPC Agree Key Principles of Tianjin Refinery Commissioning Schedule and Crude Oil Deliveries for Refining at Tianji
On October 22, 2013 the Igor Sechin, Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board, and Zhou Jiping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), have signed the Key Principles of Tianjin Refinery commissioning schedule and crude oil deliveries for refining at the said facility. The document was signed in the presence of Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of PRC.

CNPC and Hess sign agreement on Malang Block of Santanghu Basin
On July 23 in Beijing, CNPC President Liao Yongyuan met with Gregory P. Hill, Hess Corporation Executive Vice President and President of Worldwide Exploration and Production. The two sides exchanged views on furthering cooperation in the oil and gas sector and signed a cooperation agreement on Malang Block of the Santanghu Basin in Xinjiang, China.

BP and CNOOC Sign Agreement for Third Deepwater Block In The South China Sea
BP and CNOOC today signed a production sharing agreement for Block 54/11 in the deepwater Pearl River Mouth Basin, South China Sea. The block covers 4,586 square kilometres in water depths from 370 to 2,300 metres, and is close to BP’s existing deepwater interests in Blocks 43/11 and 42/05.

Siemens and China National Petroleum Corporation conclude framework agreement
Siemens has concluded a framework agreement with China's biggest oil and gas corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), to supply the entire electrical engineering and electrical systems for the first phase of the planned Guangdong Petrochemical Refinery in China. The refinery will be built in Jieyang in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong and, once completed, will be the largest refinery in China. The first stage of the plant complex is scheduled for commissioning in late 2015.

JDR Marks Deployment Of Major Subsea Umbilical Contract For China National Offshore Oil Corporation
JDR, a leading provider of technology connecting the global offshore energy industry, has deployed a range of dynamic subsea production umbilicals and ESP[1] power cables for the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) in their Liuhua 4-1 field subsea tieback project. JDR designed and manufactured over 42 kilometres of ESP power cable, each incorporating nine power cores, delivered in three 14 kilometre lengths. The order also included a 14 kilometre main production control umbilical and a bridging manifold control umbilical. These umbilicals are operating in the South China Sea, at depths from 260m to 300m.

Wison Engineering Successfully Completes Delivery of Six Projects of Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex
Wison Engineering Services Co. Ltd. (HKEx: 02236) ("Wison Engineering" or the "Company"), China's largest private chemical EPC contractor, announced today that Wison Engineering Ltd, an indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has successfully completed the delivery of six projects of the PetroChina Sichuan Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex on schedule. This is Wison Engineering’s first project to execute the main units of a sizable integrated refinery and petrochemical complex. The successful delivery demonstrates the Company’s technical strengths as a general contractor for highly complicated facilities, thereby laying a solid foundation for Wison Engineering to expand into overseas and domestic petrochemical and oil refinery markets.

Lanzhou-Chengdu Crude Pipeline completed
Lanzhou-Chengdu Crude Pipeline was completed. The 880km-long pipeline extends from the Western Crude Pipeline terminal in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, to Pengzhou terminal station in Sichuan Province, running through Gansu, Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces. The pipeline is capable of delivering 10 million tons of crude annually, with the pipe diameter of 610mm, designed maximum pressure of 13.4MPa, and a fall head of 2,207m. It is currently the one of its kind in China that has the highest pipe pressure and largest fall head.
