CB&I Announces Hydrogen Plant Award in Kansas
CB&I (NYSE:CBI) today announced it has been awarded a contract valued in excess of $40 million by Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing LLC. The project scope includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication and field construction of a 22 million standard cubic feet per day hydrogen plant at its refinery in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Coffeyville Resources Refining and Marketing to Pay $2,302,500 Combined Penalty and Reimbursement
Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing (CRRM) has agreed to pay a $556,244 civil penalty to settle alleged violations of the Clean Water Act at its facility in Coffeyville, Kansas, the Environmental Protection Agency announced today. In addition to paying the penalty, CRRM will pay $1,746,256 for reimbursement of federal response costs associated with the cleanup of the Verdigris River following a 2007 flood and oil spill.

Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing to Implement Environmental Controls Improvement Projects
Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing, LLC (CRRM), a subsidiary of CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CVI), said today that it has entered into a consent decree with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) under which it will spend $12 million over the next five years to reduce emissions of SO2 (sulfur dioxides) and NOx (nitrous oxides).
