Crosstex Energy Announces Permian Pipeline Extension Project
The Crosstex Energy companies, Crosstex Energy, L.P. (NASDAQ: XTEX) (the “Partnership”) and Crosstex Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: XTXI) (the “Corporation” and, together with the Partnership, “Crosstex”), today announced that the Partnership is continuing to expand its gas gathering and processing capabilities in the Permian Basin through a new long term, fee-based agreement with a major oil and gas producer in the region. This agreement builds upon the approximately $210 million in investments that Crosstex has already made in the Permian Basin to take advantage of growing production in the region, including its joint venture with Apache Corporation, the Mesquite fractionator and the Bearkat gathering and processing complex.

Crosstex Energy to Expand Permian Basin Gas Gathering and Processing System
The Crosstex Energy companies, Crosstex Energy, L.P. (NASDAQ: XTEX) (the Partnership) and Crosstex Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: XTXI) (the Corporation), today announced the Partnership will expand its natural gas gathering and processing system in the Permian Basin by constructing a new natural gas processing complex and rich gas gathering pipeline system. The initial investment of approximately $140 million will include treating, processing and gas takeaway solutions for regional producers. The project, which will be fully owned by the Partnership, is supported by long-term, fee-based contracts.

Crosstex Energy Initiates Phase II of Cajun-Sibon Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline Extension in Louisiana
The Crosstex Energy companies, Crosstex Energy, L.P. (NASDAQ:XTEX) (the Partnership) and Crosstex Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:XTXI) (the Corporation), today announced that the Partnership is proceeding with Phase II of the Partnership’s Cajun-Sibon natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline extension and fractionator expansion in Louisiana. In addition, construction of Phase I of the project is underway and is expected to commence operations by mid-2013. The total capital investment for both phases of the project is currently estimated at $680-$700 million. The Partnership expects Phase II to have an annual run-rate adjusted EBITDA contribution of $75-$85 million.

Crosstex Energy Completes Long-Term Supply Contracts for Cajun-Sibon Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline Extension
The Crosstex Energy companies, Crosstex Energy, L.P. (NASDAQ: XTEX) (the Partnership) and Crosstex Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: XTXI) (the Corporation), today announced that commercial contracting is complete for Phase I of the Partnership’s Cajun-Sibon natural gas liquids (NGL) extension and Eunice fractionator expansion. With contracts for third-party volumes in excess of 60,000 barrels per day and the Partnership’s equity volumes, the Partnership expects to begin operations at the project’s initial capacity of 70,000 barrels per day.

Crosstex Energy Announces Long-Term Supply Commitments for Cajun-Sibon Natural Gas Liquids Extension Project
The Crosstex Energy companies, Crosstex Energy, L.P. (NASDAQ:XTEX) (the Partnership) and Crosstex Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:XTXI) (the Corporation), today announced that the Partnership has received sufficient long-term supply commitments to proceed with the construction of its Cajun-Sibon extension, a 130-mile, 12-inch-diameter natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline. The pipeline will extend the Partnership’s existing 440-mile Cajun-Sibon NGL system and connect Crosstex’s NGL fractionation facilities in south central Louisiana to Mont Belvieu supply pipelines in East Texas. The extension allows the Partnership to provide producers and midstream companies an attractive alternative market for their NGL production at Mont Belvieu pricing. The Partnership is currently negotiating additional long-term agreements for the remaining capacity and expects the new pipeline will begin operations at or near its initial capacity of 70,000 barrels of NGL per day.

Crosstex Energy Announces Binding Open Season for NGL Pipeline System Project
In accordance with the open access requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Crosstex NGL Pipeline, L.P. today announced the start of a binding open season for volume commitments for interstate common carrier transportation service on a new natural gas liquids pipeline system (the Crosstex NGL Pipeline) that will transport unfractionated natural gas liquids (NGLs) produced in the Permian Basin, Midcontinent, Barnett Shale, Eagle Ford Shale, and Rocky Mountain areas from the Mont Belvieu, Texas area to NGL fractionation facilities in Eunice and Riverside, Louisiana. The open season will begin at 8:00 a.m. Central Time on September 14, 2011 and will close at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on October 14, 2011.
