Pembina Pipeline Corporation ("Pembina" or the "Company") (TSX: PPL; NYSE: PBA) announced that it has reached its contractual threshold to proceed with its previously announced plans to significantly expand its crude oil and condensate throughput capacity on its Peace Pipeline by 55,000 barrels per day ("bpd") (the "Phase 2 LVP Expansion").

Parnon Gathering Provides Update on Great Salt Plains Pipeline
Parnon Gathering, LLC (“Parnon”) is pleased to announce that the Great Salt Plains Pipeline is scheduled to begin receiving oil into its Cherokee terminal on October 12, 2012 and will start pumping to Cushing a few days later. The pipeline and related tanks are all mechanically complete, with hydro-testing in progress. Parnon’s new eight-inch Great Salt Plains Pipeline originates in Cherokee, Oklahoma and terminates in Cushing, Oklahoma. The Great Salt Plains Pipeline will have an initial capacity of 20,000 barrels per day with future expansion planned to increase capacity to 35,000 barrels per day.
