Petrohawk Energy Corporation Announces Sale of Fayetteville Shale Interests for $650 Million
Petrohawk Energy Corporation ("Petrohawk" or the "Company") (NYSE: HK) today announced that it has completed the sale of its natural gas assets in the Fayetteville Shale, located primarily in Cleburne and Van Buren Counties, Arkansas, to XTO Energy Inc., a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, for $575 million. The sale has an effective date of October 1, 2010.

BPL to Acquire 80% Interest in Marine Storage Facility in Freeport, Bahamas
Buckeye Partners, L.P. (“Buckeye”) (NYSE: BPL) announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire an 80 percent interest in Bahamas Oil Refining Company International (“BORCO”) from affiliates of First Reserve Corporation (“First Reserve”) for $1.36 billion. BORCO is the fourth largest oil and petroleum products storage terminal in the world and the largest petroleum products facility in the Caribbean with current storage capacity of 21.6 million barrels. Buckeye expects to finance the purchase through a combination of equity and debt.

NOVATEK acquires 51% interest in Sibneftegas
OAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) announced today the closing of the transaction to acquire a 51% interest in OAO Sibneftegas (“Sibneftegas”), by the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, OOO NOVATEK Severo-Zapad, from OAO Gazprombank. The acquisition price for the 51% interest amounted to RR 26,883 million.

Talisman Energy Announces Strategic Partnership With Sasol in Montney Shale
Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM) (NYSE:TLM) today announced it has reached agreement to create a strategic partnership with Sasol Limited to develop the Farrell Creek assets in Talisman's Montney shale play in northeastern British Columbia. Talisman will sell a 50% working interest in its Farrell Creek assets to Sasol for a total consideration of C$ 1,050 million.
