Sale Of Norwegian Business
Premier is pleased to announce that it has agreed to sell Premier Oil Norge AS (“PONAS”) which comprises all its Norwegian assets, to Det norske oljeselskap ASA (“Det norske”) for a cash consideration of $120 million. The proceeds will be used to pay down the Company’s debt and represents another step in Premier’s previously stated programme of portfolio management. The transaction is subject to the receipt of government approval and is expected to complete by year-end.

Two small discoveries to be tied back to Alvheim
Det norske has decided to develop Viper-Kobra. The project comprises two small discoveries in the Alvheim area. According to plan, approximately 7 500 barrels will be flowing into the Alvheim FPSO every day around Christmastime 2016.

Marathon Oil Announces $2.7 Billion Sale of Norway Business
Marathon Oil Corporation (NYSE: MRO) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Det norske oljeselskap ASA under which Det norske will purchase Marathon Oil's wholly owned subsidiary, Marathon Oil Norge AS, for a total transaction value of $2.7 billion. After adjustment for debt, net working capital and interest on the net purchase price, Marathon Oil expects net proceeds of approximately $2.1 billion at closing. The effective date of the transaction is Jan. 1, 2014.

Claxton wins biggest-ever drilling riser contract offshore Norway
Claxton, an Acteon company, has been awarded a multi-year contract with Det norske oljeselskap ASA of Norway: the largest single riser contract in Claxton’s history. Running from January 2014 until June 2020 (with optional periods of 1+1 year), the contract includes high- and low-pressure risers, auxiliary equipment and services offshore Norway.

Det norske oljeselskap ASA has initiated production from Jette. The first well is in production, and with good results. This is the first oil produced by Det norske as operator, representing a milestone for the company.

All set to develop Ivar Aasen and Gina Krog
The norske oljeselskap ASA has as operator been authorized to develop the Ivar Aasen-field in the North Sea. The plan for development and operation of Ivar Aasen and Gina Krog were approved by the King in Counsil this Friday. Det norske has a 3.3 percent share in Gina Krog.

Wood Group Mustang awarded detailed engineering for Ivar Aasen Platform, Offshore Norway
Wood Group Mustang has been awarded the topsides detailed engineering and design of an offshore oil & gas production facility that will be operated by Det norske. The facility will be located in the Ivar Aasen field, which is in the North Sea Norwegian Sector. The contract was awarded to Wood Group Mustang by SMOE, the Singapore-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the project.

SMOE to build platform on Ivar Aasen
Det norske oljeselskap ASA, as operator of the Ivar Aasen field, has awarded a contract for the topside on the Ivar Aasen field to SMOE in Singapore. The contract is worth approximately NOK four billion. Partners in the Ivar Aasen field are Statoil and Bayerngas.
