Kinder Morgan Energy Partners and Phillips 66 Agree to Deliver Eagle Ford Shale Crude to Coastal Refinery
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP) and Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX) have entered into an agreement for Kinder Morgan to transport Eagle Ford crude and condensate to Phillips 66’s Sweeny Refinery in Brazoria County, Texas. Under the agreement, KMP plans to build a 27-mile, 12-inch diameter lateral pipeline to extend its Kinder Morgan Crude Condensate (KMCC) pipeline. Kinder Morgan will provide Phillips 66 with a significant portion of the lateral pipeline’s initial 30,000 barrels per day (bpd) of capacity, which is expandable to 100,000 bpd.

Howard Energy Partners to Acquire 185 Miles of South Texas Pipeline from Meritage Midstream Services
Howard Energy Partners (HEP) announced today that the company has entered into definitive agreements to acquire substantially all of Meritage Midstream Services' natural gas gathering assets in South Texas. HEP will acquire the Eagle Ford Escondido Gathering System, which is partially owned by Laredo Energy, and the Cuervo Creek Gathering System. Both systems are primarily 12-inch to 16-inch high pressure natural gas pipelines. The transaction is expected to close in April, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Boardwalk Announces South Texas Eagle Ford Expansion
Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP (NYSE:BWP) today announced that its subsidiary, Boardwalk Field Services, LLC, will expand its gathering system and construct a cryogenic gas processing plant to serve producers in the Eagle Ford Shale. This project is supported by long-term, fee-based gathering and processing agreements. The gathering expansion and processing plant are estimated to cost approximately $180 million and are expected to be placed in service during the first quarter of 2013. Boardwalk has executed a fixed-price contract with Exterran to design, manufacture and construct the processing plant and construction has commenced.

Trafigura acquires Texas Dock & Rail facility in Corpus Christi to service growing needs of Eagle Ford
Trafigura AG (“Trafigura”), through its subsidiary Trafigura Terminals LLC d/b/a Texas Dock & Rail, has acquired Texas Docks & Rail Inc. (“TDR”) terminal assets in Corpus Christi, Texas. In addition to the terminal purchase, an alliance with Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (“Energy Transfer”) (NYSE: ETP) has been formed to optimize logistics opportunities for Eagle Ford producers and will provide them with the ability to access one of the deepest private water docks in the region.

Participation in the Eagle Ford Shale Oil and Gas Project
Marubeni Corporation (“Marubeni”) announced that Marubeni Eagle Ford Limited Partnership, a U.S. subsidiary of Marubeni, has entered into an agreement with Dallas based Hunt Oil Company (“Hunt”), one of the world’s largest privately-owned independent oil and gas companies, to acquire a 35% working interest in the Eagle Ford shale oil and gas play covering approximately 52,000 net acres of oil and gas leases located in Texas (the “Project”).

Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. Announces Achievement of Oil Production Goal
Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRZO) today announced the achievement of the Company's stated objective of reaching 5,000 net barrels of oil production per day before the end of 2011. The recent initiation of production from seven gross Eagle Ford Shale wells from the Pfluger and Irvin leases and the Speaker #1 in the Niobrara Formation propelled Carrizo's net overall daily oil production to approximately 6,040 barrels on December 26 according to the Company's internal calculations.

Copano Energy and Magellan Midstream Form Joint Venture to Deliver Eagle Ford Shale Condensate to Corpus Christi
Copano Energy, L.L.C. (NASDAQ: CPNO) and Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE: MMP) announced today the formation of a joint venture to deliver Eagle Ford Shale condensate to Corpus Christi, Texas. The 50/50 joint venture, known as Double Eagle Pipeline LLC, will construct and own approximately 140 miles of new pipeline to connect an existing 50-mile pipeline segment owned by Copano to Karnes, Live Oak, McMullen and LaSalle Counties of Texas, enabling delivery of condensate to Magellan’s terminal in Corpus Christi. The initial capacity of the pipeline will be 100,000 barrels per day. Double Eagle also will construct a new truck unloading facility along the pipeline near Three Rivers, Texas for deliveries of condensate destined for Corpus Christi.
