Eni starts production at DEKA Project in Egypt
Eni, through its affiliate Ieoc Production BV and in joint venture with BP Egypt, started production from the DEKA project (Denis-Karawan) through the new subsea well Denise South 6 at a gas rate of 1.8 million cubic meters per day and associated condensates of about 800 barrels per day.

CROSCO Integrated Drilling & Well Services Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce signing of the contract, in March 2013, between CROSCO and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited, Cairo, Egypt, for a provision of 2000 HP Drilling Rig Emsco 602 for South Diyur Block, Western Desert, Egypt.
The contract is signed for drilling and possible testing of two (2) wells or 120 days, whichever is earlier, with the possibility of term extension for two (2) optional wells.

Foster Wheeler Awarded Technical Consultancy Services Contracts by Apache Khalda for the Qasr Compression Project in Egypt
Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq: FWLT) announced today that subsidiaries of its Global Engineering and Construction Group have been awarded contracts by Apache Khalda Corporation LDC (Apache Khalda) for the provision of technical consultancy services to oversee the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase of the Qasr Compression Project in Egypt. The Qasr Compression Project will provide additional compression to the existing facilities at the Qasr gas condensate field, in the Western Desert, approximately 525km west of Cairo.
