Northern Gateway Reinforces Commitment to Building A Safer, Better Pipeline
Northern Gateway Pipelines, L.P. announced today that the Joint Review Panel (the Panel) recommended that the federal government approve the project, subject to 209 required conditions. The Panel stated: "Based on a scientific and precautionary approach to this complex review, the Panel found that the project, if built and operated in compliance with the conditions set out in its report, would be in the public interest."

Marathon Petroleum Corporation Commits to Sandpiper Project
Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: MPC) and Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. announced that MPC will serve as an anchor shipper for the Sandpiper Project. MPC will fund 37.5 percent of the construction of the Sandpiper Project, which will become part of Enbridge Energy Partners' North Dakota System when it is completed. Sandpiper is targeted to be operational in early 2016. In exchange for MPC's commitment to participate in the open season for Sandpiper and its investment in this project, MPC will earn an approximate 27 percent interest in Enbridge Energy Partners' North Dakota System when Sandpiper is placed into service. MPC will also have the option to increase its ownership interest to 30 percent through additional investments in future system improvements.

Enbridge's $2.6 Billion Sandpiper Project Secures Anchor Shipper, Reinforcing Light Oil Market Access Program
Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE:EEP) ("Enbridge Partners" or "the Partnership") and Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) ("Enbridge") today announced that Marathon Petroleum Corporation ("MPC") has been secured as an anchor shipper for the $2.6 billion Sandpiper Pipeline Project ("Project") component of Enbridge's overall $6.2 billion Light Oil Market Access Program ("LOMA Program") which was announced on December 6, 2012. The Sandpiper Pipeline Project will be integrated with the Partnership's North Dakota System. MPC will fund 37.5% of the Project in exchange for an approximate 27% equity interest in the North Dakota System.

Enbridge to Develop $1.4 Billion Norlite Diluent Pipeline
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) today announced that it will develop a new industry diluent pipeline with associated capital of up to $1.4 billion, depending on scope, to meet the needs of multiple producers in the Athabasca oil sands region. The base 16-inch diameter scope for the project will be anchored by throughput commitments from the Fort Hills Partners (Suncor Energy Inc., Total E&P Canada Ltd. and Teck Resources Limited) for volumes for the proposed Fort Hills oil sands project and by Suncor Energy Oil Sands Limited Partnership (Suncor) for its proprietary oil sands production. The Norlite Pipeline remains subject to Suncor board approval, as well as customary regulatory approvals.

Enbridge to Develop $1.6 Billion Wood Buffalo Extension Pipeline for Fort Hills and Suncor
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) today announced that it has been selected by the Fort Hills partners (Suncor Energy Inc., Total E&P Canada Ltd. and Teck Resources Limited) as well as Suncor Energy Oil Sands Limited Partnership (Suncor) to develop a new $1.6 billion pipeline to transport crude oil production under long term transportation commitments to Enbridge's mainline hub at Hardisty, Alberta. The [Wood Buffalo Crude Oil Pipeline Wood Buffalo Extension pipeline] will transport volumes from the proposed Fort Hills oil sands project as well as growth from Suncor's existing oil sands operations. The pipeline remains subject to Suncor board approval, as well as customary regulatory approvals.

Enbridge to Connect JACOS Hangingstone Project to its Regional System
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) today announced that it will construct facilities and provide transportation services to the Japan Canada Oil Sands Limited (JACOS) Hangingstone Oil Sands Project (the Hangingstone Project). JACOS and Nexen Energy ULC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CNOOC Limited, are partners in the project, which is operated by JACOS. Enbridge and JACOS have entered into a long term agreement for transportation services from Cheecham to Edmonton on Enbridge's regional infrastructure. Commercial terms for the incremental facilities to connect Hangingstone to Cheecham have been agreed to but execution remains subject to finalization of the definitive agreements which are imminent.

Enbridge to Build $1.3 Billion Woodland Pipeline Extension
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) announced today that it is proceeding with the construction of the Woodland Pipeline Extension Project. The project will extend the Woodland Pipeline south from Enbridge's Cheecham Terminal to its Edmonton Terminal to connect up with refineries and export pipelines in the Edmonton area. The project has an estimated cost of $1.3 billion, of which 50% is Enbridge's capital contribution, and a planned in service date in the third quarter of 2015.

NEB Issues Hearing Order for Enbridge Line 9B Reversal
The National Energy Board (NEB or the Board) today issued its Hearing Order for the Line 9B Reversal and Line 9 Capacity Expansion application submitted by Enbridge Pipelines Inc. (Enbridge). As previously announced, the Board will hold a public hearing for this project, consisting of written evidence and oral final argument.

Enbridge and Energy Transfer Join to Provide Crude Oil Pipeline Access to Eastern Gulf Coast Market
