MPSC Approves Enbridge Energy Crude Oil and Petroleum Pipeline Running Through 10 Michigan Counties
The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved an application filed by Enbridge Energy, Limited Partnership to replace, construct and operate a crude oil and petroleum pipeline running through Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Jackson, Ingham, Oakland, Macomb and St. Clair counties to address the long-term integrity of the Line 6B pipeline.

Seaway Pipeline Expansion Completed
Seaway Crude Oil Pipeline Company LLC announced that service on the 500-mile, 30-inch diameter pipeline between Cushing, Oklahoma and the Gulf Coast resumed today, with approximately 400,000 barrels per day ("BPD") of capacity now available to shippers. Service was suspended on January 2, 2013 so that the remaining pump station connections could be completed allowing capacity to be increased from approximately 150,000 BPD.

Seaway Pipeline Expansion Nearing Completion
Seaway Crude Oil Pipeline Company LLC announced today that final work is being performed in preparation for the increase in capacity from approximately 150,000 barrels per day (“BPD”) to approximately 400,000 BPD. In order to complete the remaining pump station connections, transportation service has been suspended on the 500-mile, 30-inch diameter pipeline and is expected to resume operations at full rates by the end of next week.

Enbridge Launches Open Season for Southern Access Extension
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) today announced a binding open season ("Open Season") to solicit commitments from shippers for capacity on the proposed Southern Access Extension pipeline, to be constructed, owned, and operated by U.S. subsidiary Enbridge Pipelines (Illinois) L.L.C. (the "Carrier"). The new pipeline will transport crude oil from Pontiac, Illinois, at Enbridge's Flanagan Terminal, where it will receive crude oil from Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P.'s ("the Partnership") Lakehead System, to Patoka, Illinois.

Enbridge to Invest $6.2 Billion in Light Oil Market Access Program
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB), announced today that it has received shipper support to proceed with a $6.2 billion program to expand access to markets for growing volumes of North Dakota and western Canada light oil production. The Light Oil Market Access Program (the Program) will provide increased pipeline capacity on Enbridge's North Dakota regional system; further expand capacity on the U.S. mainline system; enhance Canadian mainline terminal capability; upsize the Eastern Access Program and provide additional access to U.S. Midwestern refineries. The Program will provide access from the Enbridge system to attractive refinery markets in Ontario, Quebec and the U.S. Midwest for an additional 400,000 barrels per day (bpd) of light oil.

Enbridge to Partner in Delivering Bakken Crude by Rail to Philadelphia Refining Markets
Enbridge Inc. ("Enbridge") (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) today announced its U.S. subsidiary, Enbridge Rail (Philadelphia) L.L.C., has entered into an agreement with Canopy Prospecting Inc. ("Canopy") to create the Eddystone Rail Company to jointly develop a unit-train facility and related local pipeline infrastructure near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to deliver Bakken and other light sweet crude oil to Philadelphia area refineries. The project is expected to handle 80,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the third quarter 2013 and can ultimately be expanded to receive up to 160,000 bpd for subsequent transport by barge or pipeline to nearby refineries as early as mid-2014.

Enbridge Selected to Provide Crude Oil Pipeline for Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Development
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB), announced today that it will build, own and operate a crude oil pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico to connect the proposed Heidelberg development, operated by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, to an existing third-party pipeline system. The lateral pipeline is expected to be operational by 2016. Construction of the pipeline is subject to finalization of definitive agreements and sanction of the development by Anadarko and its project co-owners.

Enbridge to Provide Additional Facilities at Athabasca Terminal for Suncor
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Suncor Energy Oil Sands Limited Partnership (Suncor) to expand the existing infrastructure at the Enbridge Athabasca Terminal to accommodate the incremental bitumen volumes from Suncor's Firebag 3 and 4 developments. The approximately $150 million expansion is expected to be in-service in the second quarter 2013.

Enbridge Receives Regulatory Approval for Woodland Pipeline Extension
Enbridge Pipelines (Woodland) Inc., an affiliate of Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB), has received approval from the Alberta Energy Resources Conservation Board to construct the Woodland Pipeline Extension Project. The project will involve construction of a 36 inch diameter line approximately 385 km from Enbridge's Cheecham regional oil sands terminal to its mainline hub terminal at Edmonton, effectively twinning Enbridge's existing Waupisoo Pipeline. The project is estimated to require an investment of approximately $1.0 to $1.4 billion for an initial capacity of 400,000 barrels per day (bpd), expandable to 800,000 bpd. The estimated investment remains subject to finalization of scope and a definitive cost estimate.
