The Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) has issued Decision 2012 ABERCB 009, which approves Enbridge Inc. applications to construct and operate two pump stations and a pipeline that would transport diluted bitumen from Fort McMurray to Sherwood Park.

Enterprise and Enbridge Announce Completion of Seaway Pipeline Reversal
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE: EPD) and Enbridge Inc. (NYSE/TSX: ENB) today announced that modifications to the Seaway crude oil pipeline allowing it to transport crude oil from Cushing, Oklahoma to the U.S. Gulf Coast have been completed. The pipeline is in the process of being commissioned, and the first flows of crude oil into the line are expected to begin this weekend. The reversal of the 500-mile, 30-inch diameter pipeline, which had been in northbound service since 1995, provides North American producers with the infrastructure needed to access more than 4 million barrels per day (“BPD”) of Gulf Coast refinery demand.

Enbridge Proceeding With $2.6 Billion of Additional Eastern Access Projects
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) today announced that it has secured commercial support to proceed with additional Eastern Access projects. Enbridge and Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (EEP) (NYSE:EEP) also expect to proceed with supporting expansions of the U.S. mainline system between Flanagan, Illinois and Sarnia, Ontario.

Enbridge Upsizes Capacity of U.S. Gulf Coast Access Projects
Enbridge Inc. (NYSE:ENB) (TSX:ENB) ("Enbridge") today announced that it is upsizing the capacity of its U.S. Gulf Coast Access projects. The Flanagan South Pipeline from Flanagan, Illinois to Cushing, Oklahoma will be upsized to a 36- inch diameter line with an initial capacity of 585,000 barrels per day (bpd). In a separate announcement today, Enbridge and its partner Enterprise Products Partners L.P. indicated that they will twin their jointly owned Seaway Pipeline from Cushing to the U.S. Gulf Coast at Houston, with an extension to Port Arthur/Beaumont, adding 450,000 bpd of capacity to that system.

Enterprise and Enbridge to Proceed With 450,000 Barrel Per Day Expansion of Seaway Crude Oil Pipeline
Enbridge Inc. (NYSE/TSX:ENB) and Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) today announced that they have secured capacity commitments from shippers to proceed with an expansion of the Seaway Pipeline that will more than double its capacity to 850,000 (“BPD”) by mid-2014. During the supplemental binding open commitment period, Enterprise and Enbridge received additional commitments with terms ranging from five to 20 years that support construction of a 512-mile, 30-inch diameter twin (a parallel line) along the route of the Seaway Pipeline, adding 450,000 barrels per day (“BPD”) of capacity to the existing system. This capacity can be cost-effectively expanded on a timely basis with the addition of incremental pump stations.
