Funding Awarded for Participation in the Regulatory Process for the Enbridge Line 9 Reversal Phase I Project
The National Energy Board (NEB or Board) has awarded a total of $123,500 to three applicants to support their participation in the regulatory process for the proposed Enbridge Line 9 Reversal Phase I Project in southwestern Ontario.

Enterprise, Enbridge and Anadarko Moving Forward With Development of the Texas Express Pipeline
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE: EPD), Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P., (NYSE: EEP) and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) today announced that shippers have executed long-term contracts for capacity on the Texas Express Pipeline (“TEP”) being developed by the joint venture. The shippers, which include unaffiliated shippers, have tendered 15-year, ship-or-pay transportation agreements containing volume commitments that total 232,000 barrels per day (“BPD”). The contracts also include an option provision allowing shippers to increase their volume commitment.

Enterprise and Enbridge to Conduct Supplemental Open Season for Capacity on Crude Oil Pipeline from ECHO Terminal to Port Arthur
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (“Enterprise”) (NYSE: EPD) and Enbridge Inc. (“Enbridge”) (NYSE/TSX: ENB) announced today that they will hold a supplemental binding open commitment period for incremental volumes on the new crude oil pipeline to be built from the Enterprise Crude Houston (ECHO) terminal to Port Arthur, Texas. During the 45-day open commitment period, Enterprise and Enbridge will be soliciting shipper interest for crude oil movements originating from the Houston area bound for the Beaumont/Port Arthur refining complex.

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (“Enterprise”) (NYSE: EPD) and Enbridge Inc. (“Enbridge”) (NYSE/TSX: ENB) today announced the start of concurrent binding open seasons to solicit capacity commitments from shippers for an expansion of the Seaway crude oil pipeline and a new pipeline that will be built from Enterprise’s ECHO terminal to Port Arthur, Texas. Enterprise and Enbridge recently announced plans to reverse the flow direction of the 500-mile, 30-inch diameter Seaway crude oil pipeline, enabling it to transport crude oil from the oversupplied hub in Cushing, Oklahoma to the U.S. Gulf Coast.

In a decision issued today, the National Energy Board (NEB or the Board) announced its approval of the Bakken Pipeline Project Canada application submitted by Enbridge Bakken Pipeline Company Inc. (Enbridge Bakken), on behalf of Enbridge Bakken Pipeline Limited Partnership.

Enbridge Proceeding With Gulf Coast Access Project
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) announced today that it has secured sufficient capacity commitments from shippers to proceed with its Gulf Coast Access project offering crude oil transportation from its terminal at Flanagan, Illinois, to the U.S. Gulf Coast. Enbridge also announced that, in response to shipper requests, it will hold a second open season early in the new year to provide an opportunity for shippers to subscribe for additional capacity.

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (“Enterprise”) (NYSE: EPD) and Enbridge Inc. (“Enbridge”) (NYSE/TSX: ENB) today announced plans to hold concurrent open seasons from January 4, 2012 through February 10, 2012 to solicit capacity commitments from shippers for an expansion of the Seaway Pipeline and an extension of the pipeline into the Port Arthur/Beaumont refining market.

Enbridge to Acquire ConocoPhillips's Interest in Seaway Crude Pipeline System for US$1.15 billion
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire ConocoPhillips' (NYSE: COP) 50 per cent interest in the Seaway Crude Pipeline System for US$1.15 billion. On closing, Enbridge will become joint owner of the pipeline with Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE: EPD) ("Enterprise"). Enterprise will continue to operate the pipeline system and storage facilities.

Enbridge and Enterprise Agree to Reverse Seaway Crude Oil Pipeline From Cushing to U.S. Gulf Coast
Enbridge Inc. ("Enbridge") (TSX: ENB) (NYSE: ENB) and Enterprise Products Partners L.P. ("Enterprise") (NYSE: EPD) today announced that they have agreed to reverse the direction of crude oil flows on the Seaway Pipeline to enable it to transport oil from Cushing, Oklahoma to the U.S. Gulf Coast. Pending regulatory approval, the line could operate in reversed service with an initial capacity of 150,000 barrels per day by second quarter 2012.
